Ramon to R.S.

John Ott's time-lapse films comparing children's activity levels in a
fluorescent-lit classroom versus ones with full-spectrum lighting or
just sunlight are fascinating! The kids really settle down. I'll
attach the article I wrote in the seventies for the C0Ev Quarterly.
Excuse if this is a duplicate. The spirit is willing, but the brain is
shot.

Ott's work doesn't have anything to do with the pineal directly, but
who knows what effects artificial lighting is having on various
hormonal functions, etc. A lot, I am sure, like earlier puberty, etc.

Sometimes I try to imagine how life must have been before
1) electricty 2) gas light 3) candles, oil -- just sitting around
hallucinating into the campfire. And then... BEFORE fire! Just
dissolving into the pitch dark.
